01 Introduction & Scope
WorkDaily is committed to protecting user privacy through an offline-first architecture. This Privacy Policy details how user information, local notifications, exported reports, and preferences are handled when using the WorkDaily Android application.
WorkDaily is designed to keep your personal attendance, wage, and earning records on your own device.
02 Information Entered & Stored
All information entered by you—including profile name, optional profile avatar photo, mobile phone number, daily wage configurations, attendance logs, overtime hours, advance payments, notes, and app preferences—is stored exclusively on your device inside the following local storage systems:
- Room SQLite database.
- DataStore preferences.
- App-private internal storage.
WorkDaily operates without a remote backend server, user account requirement, or external cloud data transmission.
03 How Information Is Used
Information entered into WorkDaily is used solely on your local device to:
- Display your personal attendance calendar and passbook ledger.
- Calculate daily earnings, overtime pay, advance deductions, and net pending balances.
- Generate local PDF passbook reports when requested by you.
- Schedule local attendance reminders and daily or weekly earnings notifications on your device.
WorkDaily does not use your records for advertising, analytics, or remote profiling.
04 Local Storage & Security
Because all data remains on your physical device in app-isolated private storage, your records are protected by Android system sandbox security.
WorkDaily does not collect passwords, payment card details, or authentication credentials.
WorkDaily does not require a remote account or cloud synchronization for its core attendance and earning record-keeping features.
05 Third-Party Services & Network Activity
WorkDaily does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting SDKs, tracking frameworks, or cloud synchronization services.
Internet network permissions are used solely when you explicitly initiate external contact actions, such as opening the WhatsApp channel, Instagram page, or launching an email client to contact support.
06 Local Notifications & Permissions
WorkDaily uses system AlarmManager and WorkManager to deliver local attendance reminders and summary alerts directly on your device.
Notification content is generated 100% locally and may dynamically include user-configured wage rates or calculated work summaries.
You can grant or revoke notification permissions at any time in Android Settings.
07 Data Retention, Deletion & User Control
Your information remains stored on your local device for as long as the application remains installed, or until you explicitly edit or delete individual records or clear application storage.
Uninstalling WorkDaily permanently removes all internal database records and local profile assets.
User-created backup ZIP files stored in downloads or external folders must be managed or deleted manually by the user.
Keep your ZIP backups in a secure location. Deleting the app or clearing its storage does not automatically remove backup files saved outside the app.
08 Children's Privacy
WorkDaily is designed for working individuals, employees, supervisors, and contractors to manage daily wage records.
WorkDaily does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.
09 Policy Changes & Support
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or legal requirements. Material updates will be reflected in the Last Updated date at the top of this document.
Continued use of WorkDaily following posted updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.
